Yum Yum! I made for a friends birthday and she loves it. I used sugar free chocolate pudding...it was all i had and it still was good. The crust was a titch hard to cut with a fork. I would not cook as long the next time..maybe until the crust was light light brown. thanks!

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

These are really good. I used skim milk and blue cheese dressing. After I cooked the pork chops I made the gravy and then put the pork chops back in the pan to sit for a few more minutes to soak up the flavors. Yum!

Baked Apples

Great Recipe! I added a little nutmeg and walnuts, put apple juice in the bottom of the pan, and used braeburn apples. Yum! Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some carmel topping. ;)

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Way good bread! I made it with all applesauce instead of oil, a little pumpkin pie spice, and 5 egg whites. Mine was done faster than called for...so check it early. thanks!

Shepherd's Pie III

I came across this recipie when i had extra mashed potatoes in the fridge..it worked out great! I did not do the cornstartch thing...i can never quite get that right. I would have added a few more onions thats it.

Simple Country Ribs

YUM! These ribs are so good and so easy to make. I just used water to boil them the second time i made them and they still turned out wonderful. Just one bottle of sauce will work too...then some for dipping! Made twice now and excellent both times! :)

Beer Battered Onion Rings

These were pretty good. I think they were lacking something...maybe more salt? I kept forgetting to salt them as soon as i took them out of the oil. They batter was nice and thick on the onion rings. Make sure your onions are very dry, use some flour if you have to and make sure the oil is very hot. :)

Mom's Good Cinnamon Rolls

I dont know what i did wrong mine turned out very hard. Maybe they did not rise correctly. I did add more sugar to the middle like others sugggested. I think next time i will cook them all in a 9x13 cake pan it seems like the ones on the outside of the pie dish were the hardest and i used 3 pie dishes. I am hopeing they will soften a little overnight with a peice of bread in there with them.

Homemade Stewed Tomatoes

These were pretty good. I think it needs more salt. Also mine were very watery...maybe it was my tomatoes? I used these in spaghetti and then lasagna the following days.

Pumpkin Cookies VI

Yummy pumpkin cookies! I changed a few things...applesauce instead of butter, a little pumpkin spice, 1/2 whole wheat flour. They were very sticky so i was a little worried...but they just needed to be baked a tad longer. (11-12min) They turned out great and low in fat and high in fiber!

White Chili IV

This soup was pretty good. The flavor was good, however i thought it was missing something. Maybe some diced tomatoes, or some carrots. I am still giving it 5 stars because my husband usally does not like soup and he loved this.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

I cut down the garlic a lot. I did not like the flavor so much. I also added milk which helped. I would have prefered butter and milk with good ole' s&p.

Tortillas II

Okay so I tried to make this recipie with 1/2 Wheat flour and 1/2 white flour! Sorry I was just trying to be healthy. They were very difficult to roll out and get them round. The taste was okay, a little doughy. I am thinking that I should have used more baking soda because the wheat flour is heavier that white. I might try these again with just white flour like the recipie called for. ;)

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Good frosting and very easy to make. I would add a tiny bit more sugar to this just to make it a bit sweeter. I also used 1 8oz fat free cream cheese and 1 8oz 1/3 fat cream cheese and it still was good. This recipie is too much for 1 9x13 top I would cut it in half next time, unless I was doing the sides or a middle also.

Chocolate Truffles

These are very easy to make and they made nice gifts. I thought that they were a bit dry after a day or two so I suggest putting them in an air tight container right away. I used dark chocolate chips for a rich flavor. I rolled mine in nuts, powdered sugar, coconut, coco, chocolate flakes, YUM!
