Loving the Lord with my wonderful husband and fanstastic son. I love to make things up with veggies, pasta, all kinds of meats using different spices and cooking tecniques. We eat a lot of game meat, because my husband hunts a lot so I try and do new things with what we have. My mom is a "from scratch" traditional cook. I have taken a lot from her including canning and baking. However I am a little more inclined to get away from the fried foods and try baking with out all of the heavy gravies. I make a pretty tasty lasagna that my husband raves about. Some of my made up recipes (that I dont usually write down OOPS) have been big hits. In 4H I recieved quite a few awards ribbons etc for my cooking. Except once! My first 4H cooking experience was horrible!!! Everyone expected me to do sooo well. To say the least my molasses cookies were paper thin and covered the whole bottom of the cookie sheet. Oh and over cooked stir fry because the baby is crying will get your hubby to take you out for dinner because it really is nasty!!!
