About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
All kinds of bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom would make our favorite meals for our birthdays. She makes great crepes (which we called grandma's pancakes) and a delicious cheese bread.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make gnocchi once and it was a lot of work and pretty flavorless.

Curried Vegetables
I didn't have cumin seeds so I used powder. I didn't use jalapeno peppers or tumeric b/c I didn't have any. I added water several times to keep it from burning. I added spinach just before it was finished. Next time I will add the eggplant later also b/c it disintegrated by the time the potatoes were cooked. It was very good. The cilantro was especially good on it.

Vegetable Curry
I didn't have tumeric or red pepper. I thought it was very good anyway. I added a little water twice to help cook the potatoes and cauliflower.

Pumpkin Bread VI
Very good. I used applesauce instead of oil and I added a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I might add a little bit more of each spice next time.
