I'm a stay-at-home wife & mother of four. Brittney: 21, Garth: 17, Andee Michelle: 13 & Bubbers: 2. And now, grandmother of one. Ginnie: 3 months. My favorite things to cook are recipes that my grandmother used to make. I was raised by my Italian Grandparents. My kids and I make a lot of different types of cookies at Christmas time. I also bake and decorate a special cake for everyone's birthday or special occasion. I also let my family pick their favorite recipes for their special birthday dinner. My only cooking triumph that I can think of is that no one ever really taught me to cook. I did it almost completely on my own. I suppose that's fairly common. I've also finally concurred chocolate chip cookies and pie crusts. I know that sounds like simple things, but for some reason, I had trouble. It always seems that when I'm cooking for guest, nothing turns out like it would when I'm just cooking for my family. It's Murphy's Law and it happens all the time! CRAZY!
