Bill's Seasoned Ketchup

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
This is a great start. If you are like me and like to experiment with healthier alternatives, then this gives you a little push. I have been making my own Ketchup and Mustard sauces for years. I use base 'tomato sauce' and then add splenda for sweet, garlic seasonings, cider vinegar, onion salt etc. as my tastes warrant. Same thing with Mustard, just add the flavors you like, cayenne, garlic, black pepper. The options are endless. I love a sweeter mustard so I have been putting a little splenda in with garlic and man is it good on veggies or on the wraps I make with turkey and coleslaw.

Can't Leave Alone Bars

This turned out very good. I love it because it is so flexible. You can use any flavor cake mix. You can use butter in place of oil. You can use any type of gooey center (Chocolate, peanut-butter, mint chips, toffee, etc.) This recipe is simple and very tasty.

Delicious. Crisp and earthy tasting. Used 100% whole wheat flour and loved it. Kids loved it with peanut butter spread on it. I loved it with just some butter.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

This is a great recipe. We even make it totally low cal by using egg whites, or egg substitute. Then instead of putting cheese in pie mixture just sprinkle parmesian cheese on top. You can eat 1/4th of this pie for just 250 calories.

This is a great combination of flavors and textures. I used whole grain bread and 6 whole eggs and 6 egg whites. Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. This is healthy and delicious. Kids and adults will love this combination as we did.

Excellent! Very simple, very easy, and very tasty. We use 2 teaspoons of unsweetened choco with 4 splenda packets. This makes for a very low-cal, healthy, delicious and filling snack.

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
So simple, and oh so tasty! Try it, you'll love it. We also cut down to 3 cups of Almonds and it seemed to be perfect measurement. Next time we may add cocoa powder in place of the cinnamon for a twist.
