Grandmas Cowboy Cookies
These were nice and chocolatly with a good coconut flavor. Very moist and chewy! I omitted the peanut butter and the nuts because I didn't have any on hand. I halved the recipe and actually got exactly 18 cookies out of it, I needed to extend the baking time to 14 minutes though this may be due to missing peanutbutter, or just my oven! A nice change from the norm!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This was a delicious pie! I used a pie crust recipe from Cook's Illustrated, and created a Lattice Top. My only recommendations would be to slice the apples into fairly thin slices. I cut my apples into ninths and they were still a bit too crunchy for my liking after the recommended baking time. Best served warm with whipped cream.

Blueberry Clafouti
The texture was in between cake and custard in that it was very chewy and egg like. I threw in a dash of cinnamon, the level of sweetness was subtle yet appropriate, next time I might mascerate the berries in some sugar to highlight their flavor.
