I was born of Baptist missionary parents on the island of St.Lucia in the West Indies. In 1978 my husband and I and 2-yr-old daughter came to Brazil as missionaries, where we still are. We now have 4 daughters(all married), 1 son and 3 grandchildren. The Lord has blessed us in every way!

My favorite things to cook
I love to make casseroles and other foods made in the oven...especially breads!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pizza on Saturday & spaghetti on Sunday!
On Christmas morning, cinnamon rolls are a must-along with hot chocolate.
My cooking triumphs
My cole slaw is probably the dish that has gotten requested more than any other. But I can make a pretty mean whole wheat bread/rolls, too, and my children think that my pizza is the best anywhere(they're prejudiced, I believe).
My cooking tragedies
The first(and worst!)was during our 1st year of marriage. I pressure-cooked liver!!! No more comments needed...!
