Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This turkey was excellent. I added a few stalks of celery and some sweet onion into the cavity with some more butter and season salt. It came out very moist and tender. Will do this again!

I guess I am not a rosemary person because I thought the rosemary overpowered everything else and ruined the taste. Luckily I could scrape most of it off and save the pork loin.

Lentil Soup

This was great and it made for wonderful leftovers. I didn't make it vegetarian though..I slow cooked my ham bone from Thanksgiving all day and used the broth to make the soup..delicious!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This bread is delicious and my kids love it! I followed the recipe EXACTLY...and it was great. I take that back, I had no cloves so I didn't add that..I also used real pumpkin as we just harvested a half dozen pumpkins from our patch. This is a wonderful, and easy recipe!

Baked Crumbled Chicken

I followed this recipe to a t with the exception of using chicken breast tenders. There is way to much salt and way to much paprika in this recipe. Scale it down and maybe add some garlic powder or something and maybe it would be better.

Garlic Prime Rib

Delicious. I used a 3 lb prime rib..scaled the ingredients down and cooked at 460 for 8 mins. then at 350 for 40 mins. Turned out great!!
