Just ok. My husband liked it, but my kids and I didn't care for it. I'm pretty sure it was the consistency of the eggplant that turned us off. Everything else was good because it tasted just like a regular lasagna mixture.

Cabbage Rolls II

Excellent! Even my 7 year old ate them and loved them. Next time I will cut down or omit the brown sugar in the sauce. It was a bit sweet for me!

Mushroom Chicken Piccata

Awesome. Followed the recipe exactly, except I did not bread the chicken. I simply fried it up in the pan with some butter and seasonings. I also added capers. Was wonderful.

The Best Bean and Ham Soup

Teriyaki Marinade

This was a very good sauce! I added a bit more sugar, probably about 1/3 cup, but all the other stayed the same. I did add some corn starch to thicken it up also. Made for a great teriyaki chicken and rice!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Fantastic! Doubled cheese and broccoli, but left all the rest! Made a HUGE pot of soup, great for lunch next day. I also added 1/8 tsp of nutmeg as someone else suggested.

I have to give this a 4 because it is what it is, and tastes ok. Although after eating this for a week, I was not only sick of it, lol, but it ran through me for 2 weeks afterwards. That's how it works, you lose all your weight in the toilet!! LOL

Cornish Finnish Michigan Pasties

My whole family loved these! My husband and I are from Michigan, so these were a treat! I ate it with gravy and my husband had his with ketchup. My kids just ate them up! We followed the recipe exactly, minus the msg. I ended up with 7 large pasties and 1 small one. We couldn't fit 1 1/2 cups of filling in each (more like 1/2 a cup), so we had quite a bit of leftovers that we just fried it up and ate. Next time I will add a bit of butter to my dough, or butter flavored Crisco, to give it a bit more flavor, and double it (dough) so we have leftovers and enough dough to use all the filling!

Cake Doughnuts

I either did something wrong, or its the recipe. Mine came out more doughy then cakey. Plus as others mentioned it was very hard to work with. Had to keep adding flour to work with it. By the time I got the process down and got them all made, I was not impressed with the taste or consistency. I gave it 3 for the ok taste, and easiness of the recipe.

Slow Cooker Tamale Pie

Delicious..I tweeked it a bit. I used 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey and 2 boxes of corn bread mix. In my turkey I added a couple cloves crushed garlic, half a finely chopped jalepeno, half an onion, a can of black beans and my own taco seasoning. I stirred in the enchilada sauce. In my cornbread mix I added 1 egg , 1/3 cup milk, 3/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 of a chopped jalepeno. It is so tweeked because I used 2 different recipes and combined the ideas. Lol I put it in the slow cooker onb medium /low for about 4.5 or 5 hrs and it turned out excellent. The leftovers are spectacular too!

Creamy Cheesecake

Delicious and easy. Cut the sugar to 1/2 cup. I also had to cook it for an additional 20 mins for it to firm up, then chilled for 5 hrs. Will definitely make again!
