Too Much Chocolate Cake

Hands down, the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I loved the picture posted so I baked the cake in a Bundt pan and once it cooled, I heated chocolate frosting in the microwave (at 15 second intervals) until it was warm enough to pour. Then I slowly poured the icing all along the rim of the cake and it oozed down the sides, shiny and beautiful. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

Southern Moon Pies

I've made these many times and everyone always raves. I've tried doubling the filling but it makes them too sweet for my taste. To make them picture perfect, I put the filling in a zip lock bag, cut off a corner and pipe a circle on each half being careful not to get too close to the edge. This way you can see the filling without it getting everywhere. This also cuts down on the amount of filling helping to keep the sweetness in check.

Asian Coleslaw

Wow, this knocked my socks off!!! I wish I could give it more than five stars! My only change was to add some rough chopped pecans and I liked the added crunch. I've been looking for a good Asian dressing for ten years and the search is finally over!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

This is so good and SO much better than bottled Teriyaki Sauce. I accidentally doubled the cornstarch and water and I think I'll do that again because the sauce was a really great consistancy. Next time, I'll try it with halved breasts to cut some of the fat.

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

I really liked this dressing but the next time I make it I'm going to follow another reviewers suggestion and increase the lime juice to 1/3 cup and decrease the honey to 1/4 cup. For me, the honey taste seemed to overpower the other flavors.

Kielbasa Stew

I love this soup and I make it often. I use low-fat sausage to cut the fat and I can't taste a difference. It's fantastic served with a spoonful of low-fat sour cream on top.

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

This is the classic Mac and Cheese I was looking for. I don't like to cook with processed foods but I'm willing to make an exception so I can have this a couple times a year. My husband likes his with sliced tomatoes on top.

White Bean Chicken Chili

I served this to my book group when it was my time to host and everyone wanted the recipe. I just added a salad and fresh cornbread for a complete meal. So easy and yummy!!!
