About this Cook
I'm almost 30 and mummy of two boys (7 1/2 and 1 1/2). I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home Mom. I'm always very busy in the kitchen, which is my favorite place at home !
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, anything... bread, cookies, cakes... ANYTHING ! Other than that I love to cook pasta dish and anything with chicken.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't really have "family cooking tradition" but there are a few things that are regularly asked for by my family : chicken Marsala, Pecan Pie, cinnamon Rolls and Key lime pie.
My cooking triumphs
Clone of a Cinnabon... here in France we don't have those, so first time I made them we all got crazy and everyone ate like 5 of them in the afternoon.
My cooking tragedies
I tried a challah recipe and it was horrible, did not rise properly and looked aweful. I tried another recipe the week after and it was wonderful (jenny michelle's challah).

Florentine Artichoke Dip
Perfect recipe, a real success last saturday night. My friends loved it and left with the recipe. As suggested, I used less mayo and a bit more cream. Also used Ricotta instead of cream cheese (healthier).

Raspberry Cream Muffins
Very good muffins. I only used this half cup of sugar and they were perfect & not too sweet. great consistancy. I omited the almond and vanilla extract and used 2ts of matcha green tea. I also did as suggested and didn't fold the raspberries directly into the batter, I just put them between two layers of batter... yummy!

San Francisco Sourdough Bread
Delicious bread. I only used half of the ingredients and used my bread machine. The result is outstanding. My starter was too young (only 7 days) so I expect the sour taste will get better with time.
