To be happy I need sun, food, friends and adventures.
I have a passion for traveling and all my travels, of course, are culinary oriented. Always coming back home with cookbooks, cooking magazines, dictionaries (to translate the recipes) and lots of memories of wonderful meals.
I started a Blog where I'm going to TRY to post some of my travel adventures and the recipes I discover on the way.
Please stop by, take a look and leave a comment.

My favorite things to cook
Mmmmm...difficult. I don't care for baking or desserts.
I would say my favorite thing to cook is appetizers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The only cooking tradition we have and I LOVE, is having fondue Bourguignonne for New Years. All through the year I seem to collect different sauces in my refrigerator and this is the one time we try them ALL. It is a pallet of flavours.
My cooking triumphs
My first creamy risotto.
My cooking tragedies
I had several cooking tragedies in my life, but the one I remember the most, was when I made a fabulous recipe for Blueberry Bread Pudding With Custard Sauce, and instead of using 3/4 cup of sugar I used 3/4 cup of salt. Disgusting! And I was so proud of my sauce. What a waste and what a laugh.
