About this Cook
I'm an extremely picky eater so everythying I make, I make for other people. I go on their reactions and what they think to determine how I can make the food better in the future. Unfortunately my boyfriend, aka live-in garbage disposal likes EVERYTHING...so he makes for a difficult judge at times:)
My favorite things to cook
mmmm...mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, garlic bread and fried chicken!! All my favorite foods. I also love desserts...cookies and cake are my weaknesses!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't really have traditions. Whoever can cook, cooks; while the rest of us scarfs the food.
My cooking triumphs
I'm really good at changing a recipe to how I think I would like it if say I wasn't so picky. I do a better job at what would look like a difficult meal as opposed to something most would think is simple. For example...I just learned how to hard-boil eggs...and I overcooked them.
My cooking tragedies
The only real tragedy is when I burn my fingers and hands!!

Pizza Pinwheels
I made these for a family party and everyone raved how yummy they were - not too mention they were almost all gobbled up before the party even actually started!! My mom came in ten minutes late and was told to try one - and she was lucky because there was only ONE left for her to try!!

Baked Pork Chops I
This was so delicious!! My fiance absolutely loved this dish it was so tender. I did tweak it a bit however: I used a 16 oz can of progresso cream of mushroom, a packet of lipton's onion soup mix, a spoonful of sour cream, `1/2 cup of the white cooking wine, the milk and fried up some fresh mushrooms to add in. It was soooo good and smelled yummy!! I also used bone in center cut pork chops (used only 4 though) the only problem with this was the bone seemed to chip off, my fiance made a comment that he almost broke his tooth several times - but still said he loved it. So next time - no bone in!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies looked incredible but I was a little dissapointed in the taste. The pudding added a unique flavor but the cookies itself was a little too 'cakey' then what I like. I think next time I will probably cut the flour down quite a bit. It also made a huge amount as well - I spent three hours in in the kitchen when I was hoping to be done in One.
