I absolutely LOVE to cook, "hence the name". I am a histotechnician (pathology) which is a very rewarding career I feel blessed to be doing. I am 40 years old, married with one teenage son. My husband & son help me rate new recipes I try on this website. On saturday mornings, I log on to allrecipes and make my grocery list for the week. Almost every meal is planned around new recipes I have found during the week, and saved to my recipe box. I just have so much fun with this! I have learned so much from all of the allrecipe cooks, Thank-you!
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely adore pasta dishes, so I make those often, also soups. I like to try ethnic dishes that I have had in different restaurants.

Red Pepper-Salmon Pasta
This was wonderful. Let me just say to please add the stated amount of cilantro. I love cilantro so I thought more = better. Not so...the taste was overpowering. Next time I will go easy on it. Loved the recipe. Thank-you!

Grilled Marinated Shrimp
WELL DONE!!! This marinade makes the best shrimp! I doubled the recipe...we were making 4lbs. of shrimp. I bought jumbo frozen shrimp, they were butterflyed for the grill. Marinated for about 3 hrs. Perfection. I did add a tad of cayenne, cuz we like it hot. Really, just thanks so much for this outstanding marinade. We just ate, and my whole house is happy!

Habanero Pepper Cream Pasta
This pasta recipe is to die for! Soooo hot & spicy...just the way we like it! Many options with adding veggies or meat, but perfect as is.
