Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
My boyfriend loved this. Hes picky and will eat whatever i make, but not always enjoy it. He said this one really tasted BETTER than Red Lobster! I put in 2/3 of the butter and more garlic. Less mustard is better. I made this again and it was a little too dijon-y.

Caramelized Red Bell Peppers and Onions

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
Omitted the butter and added yellow peppers. I used sea salt instead too. Pretty good.

Fish in Foil

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
They had no trout at the store, so I made it with boneless salmon steaks. I don't eat meat, but my boyfriend said it was good. Next time I would use less garlic salt.

Super Easy Seared Ahi Tuna

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
Very good, but sushi grade tuna is super expensive! it was like $20/lb so if I decide to make this again, it would probably only do it on a special occasion.

Salmon with Dill

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
Super recipe. I tried fresh dill the first time but it didn't have much flavor so I made it again and the dried dill was MUCH better. I would make this recipe again. it was great!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
I am definitely NOT a cook and this is the best and easiest recipe I've ever made form this website. I like to use Boars Head maple ham for a slightly sweet flavor. My boyfriend actually ASKED for this one again! 2 suggestions: using colored toothpicks will color the chicken, and the ham makes the chicken pink but that doesn't mean it isn't cooked enough. Don't make the same mistake I did the first time! I would and have made this recipe again and again!

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
Better with real garlic and onion, but a good recipe overall. I would make it again and have already!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
I read the other reviews and decided to take out the chicken while I sauteed some onions and mushrooms, then added the chicken and simmered on each side for 5 minutes. The breading was STILL soggy and I can't even imagine it if I would have cooked it for 20 mins! It wasn't so bad and my boyfriend said it tasted like the one from the caterer.

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I didn't make the whole recipe, just the marinade for the meat and my boyfriend said it was just bland. Not much flavor, nothing special. We make fajitas all the time and they usually come out well. He said the worstershire sauce detracted, not added from the overall flavor. I don't thik i would try this recipe again.

Vegan Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I followed the recipe closely, and this soup was just bland. It needed more spices and the veggies were still a little crunchy. Next time (if I even tried it again) I would simmer for at LEAST 20 mins, if not more.

Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I usually make guacamole without a recipe and this was by far the best one I've made. I used more garlic, less tomato, and added a little soymilk. I blended the avacado, onion, garlic, lime juice and soymilk in my magic bullet before adding the tomatoes. It was awesome!
