About this Cook
I'm addicted to laughter, not laughter that comes at the embarrassment of others, but true, good laughter between friends.
My favorite things to cook
Vegetable soup, I use my Grandfather's verbal recipe, he never wrote anything down. I look forward to cold winter weekend nights so I can make a large pot, along with cornbread and then enjoy a movie on TV, or settle into a good book.
My favorite family cooking traditions

My cooking triumphs
Ha! Never had one
My cooking tragedies
I cooked spaghetti one night, browned the meat, added meatballs (was in a "meat" mood I guess) added in a jar of sauce and for reasons beyond me, after allowing the meat/sauce to simmer, I DRAINED it! Immediately after, I stood at the sink wondering what the heck I had done, what was I thinking (obviously I wasn't thinking).

Garlic Cheese Biscuits
I did it, I successfully baked something! I did increase the cheese and added more cheese as was recommended by others. I have NEVER backed anything that turned out. My son actually asked me to make more.
