Cream Cheese Cookie Cups
These are really good. I used a bit less powdered sugar than the reciped called for, because it seemed sweet enough. I sprinkled mini chocolate chips on top. Very pretty, very tasty, and very well liked by everybody.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
I give this 5 stars because both my 5 & 1 year old kids liked it. I used uncooked skinless boneless chicken and it cooked up beautifully. After about 8 hours on low I removed the chicken and shredded it. Before putting the chicken back in, I thickened the broth with a little cornstarch & water mixture. My husband had to add some hot sauce to his bowl, which was fine because it was mild enough for the kids.

Vicki's Hush Puppies
We liked these exactly as the recipe was written, and dusted with powdered sugar after cooking. Whether or not you like these appears to depend on where you live and what you consider a hush puppie to be. Some people complain that these are too sweet, well to me that's how hush puppies are supposed to be. Others said they added corn, which in my experience is more like a corn fritter than a hush puppie. If you are trying to decide whether or not to make these, look at the recipe and see if this is what you think a hush puppie should be. My husband, two young kids, and I really liked these. Next time I'll probably cut the recipe in half because it made too much for us.
