Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom of 3 kids under the age of 7. I like trying out new recipes at least once a week. My poor dh always has to be my guinea pig when it comes to new things. I like to sneak in healthy foods without any of them knowing.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking just about anything...ahh, who am I kidding? My favorite thing to make is homemade cheesecakes, brownies, and cookies. My family is a big pasta family. And when we're not having pasta, we're having some kind of mexican food. I really like quick, easy recipes. I like trying out new recipes and it is a bonus when it's a good one!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Around Christmas my family of 5 will gather in the kitchen and make/decorate cookies. My daughter is starting to "help" in the kitchen when I'm preparing a meal...granted, she's 2 years old, but she loves to watch! My kids like to search allrecipes.com for new yummy dishes to help me make.
My cooking triumphs
When dh and I got together, I didn't know my way around the kitchen. I couldn't even prepare hamburger helper without something going wrong! 3 kids and 13 years later, I'm a new woman in the kitchen! :)
My cooking tragedies
I've had so many of these it's not even funny. Sometimes trying out those new recipes don't pay off in the end because no one likes it. But, that is one thing about food, if it doesn't turn out and the dog won't even eat it, you can throw it away and order out!!

Best Brownies
Good recipe for a brownie made from scratch. I doubled the recipe and put in 9x13. Very moist in inside. Did NOT make icing...was very good by itself. Baked for around 50 minutes. Can add peanut butter chips for a different taste.
