This chili is great!! I added a few things to it (a can of black beans, a larger amount of the seasonings, a can of sliced mushrooms, and towards the end, black olives) that we have to have in my house.....the chili is wonderful....but it will make a TON, so be prepared!! Wonderful, will make this again many times....but the red pepper does give it a little bit of a bite, so if you don't like hot stuff, maybe you'd want to leave it out.....

Rice Pudding

Pudding tasted great, but luckily I did add extra rice because I thought that would be too much milk....So, I added extra rice, and halved the white sugar, and made the other half of the sugar called for brown sugar....also, since we love cinnamon so much, I added a lot of cinnamon into the pudding, not just a sprinkling on top....Rice pudding, great stuff!!!!!!!!

Shepherd's Pie

Great!!! Followed some of the suggestions of other members, and added some seasoning salt, some garlic, and topped it with rows of tater tots instead since we had a big bag. Gave it to my boyfriend with a beer and he loved it. Very good stuff!!!

It took a while mixing in more powdered sugar to get the right consistency, but OMG--ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL---since peanut butter is a food group to my boyfriend, I will be making these OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN..ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, AND EASY TO MAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Banana Nut Brownies

Great brownies...super moist-I did leave them in longer than the recommended time though, just to make sure the inside was done and to get a nice crispy edge around the outside. Very banana-y tasting, if you love bananas, but also chocolatey and the walnuts give them a little bit of a crispy texture. We really enjoyed these....

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

My boyfriend has been on me to make a peanut butter pie for a while now, so, of course, I came to Allrecipes to find that pie. He LOVES this one!!! I came out with a lot more filling though than the recipe says, so, since I have a surplus of pie shells in the cupboard, I ended up with 3 pies instead of 2. But that's no problem--These will disappear FAST!! Awesome pie, not a lot of work, and very GOOD!!

Gram's Persimmon Pudding

MMMM!!! This was great!! I had never had a persimmon before last week, and I saw some and wanted to try one. Then I had 3 left over and looked on AR...I really enjoyed this!! I had a carton of cream, and I put in about 1/2 cup of whole cream to make sure it would be really moist! Great sweet buttery taste!!MMM!!

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

Great easy to make meatloaf! I made it with parmesan as one of the other folks suggested. We had leftover venison, so I made with half venison, half hamburger. Great! Salsa makes it very tangy and delicious!

Master Recipe for Rich and Creamy Cheesecake

This cheesecake is great!! The sour cream and heavy cream really do make a difference!! So rich and creamy. I had never baked a cheesecake in a water bath like this before (guess I thought it was too much of a pain), but it makes a HUGE difference. I usually put a lot of toppings on my cheesecakes after they are done, but what bothered me is that the tops would always crack and then get hard...putting them in a pan of water like this really does stop this from happening! Cheesecake was nice, firm, and super creamy (I made the Snickers one)....the best one yet!! Will use this recipe from now on.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

I had never made a "real pie" from scratch before, but I found a whole case of strawberries for $10 the other day, so I made one for us and one for our neighbors...THIS PIE WAS AWESOME, and so SIMPLE to make! I'll be making lots more, and am going to make with different kinds of berries....GREAT PIE!!!
