Sylvia's Ribs

Wow! I have never tried to cook ribs before. I had bought country style pork ribs on sale & wanted to try a recipe that was not too time consuming. I had two hours & all the ingredients. My family absolutely loved these! I served with fresh corn on the cob & steamed Green Beans. Going into the rotation for whenever I find these on sale again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Nice Dish. Changed up just a bit. No wine, instead used a can of chicken broth. also didn't have any corn starch, but flour worked just fine.also just used 2% milk instead of cream. The sauce was still every bit as rich & the entire can of broth allowed there to be plenty of sauce which was great over top of the mashed potatoes. all the kids ate their entire meal! Going in the rotation.

Fresh Pear Cake

Very easy & fast to put together. My pears were very juicey & ripe, so no need to soak in sugar longer then the time it takes to get all the other ingredients together. I left out the nuts, didn't miss them at all. Very moist & will make again, maybe next time trying it with apples. I took the advice of others and cut the spice amounts down by half & added ginger. This was very sweet & moist. No need for any icing. Nice cake.

London Broil II

This is a keeper in the rotation whenever I can get London Broil on sale!Followed the directions & let it marinate overnight. The little bit that was left over was even tastier the next day! Great recipe!

Bacon Wrapped Bratwurst

Wow! I took this to a Superbowl Party. It was the first thing gone! Everyone wanted the recipe. I was thinking it would be a good guy appetizer, but the ladies loved it too. Will make for the next gathering for sure.

Chocolate Chess Pie I

Great recipe! Came together so fast & easy! Quite delicious. I used two frozen regular (not deep) pie crusts and divided it between the two. Top with a dollop of whipped cream! Will make again.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

First attempt ever trying Chicken & Dumplings. I was pleased with the outcome. I used canned refrigerator biscuit dough as someone else suggested. That worked great. Will make again without adding any additional salt. I thought the final dish was a bit too salty.

Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

I am a bit disappointed since this recipe got such great reviews. I am hoping that as it sits longer(mine only sat 3 hours) the flavor will improve. It certainly makes a lot. It's not bad, just not 'Awesome' in my opinion
