About this Cook
I love decorating cakes! I've been taking the Wilton classes to learn new tips & tricks
My favorite things to cook
Baked goods (esp cakes), 4-6 course meals for my family, experimental dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
I make sure that I use certified Fair Trade ingredients as much as possible (coffee, sugar, cocoa, chocolate, tea, etc.), as it is very important to me that the producers of my ingredients can afford medication, education, etc. I also try to buy local and organic products too.
My cooking triumphs
Various cakes
My cooking tragedies
The experimental dishes that don't turn out well

Rolled Buttercream Fondant
This is a great alternative for fondant (I don't like the taste of fondant, but this just tastes like buttercream). If you wish to get rid of the "greasy" shine, dust you final product with icing sugar.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III
These are delicious! I followed the recipe as is (well, okay, I added a bit extra white chocolate ;) ); although, like others have said, they took a couple minutes longer (+ 2.5 minutes).. And for once the number of cookies I got equals the yield!
