Really tasty! I didn't have a cup of onions so I added what I had and used white wine vinegar to taste. Yummy! I'm no longer bored with green beans.

Followed the recipe as far as spice and ingredient amounts (I used Fuji apples), but I gave the apples a quick rough chop after slicing. Wonderful balanced flavor and very tender. I didn't have a 9x9 so used an 8x8 and I think the smaller pan made the brownies a little too "moist" but the taste was fab! I will make this again--after I buy the appropriate pan size.

I just got another request to prepare this recipe for a party and realized I hadn't reviewed it! Delicious! Make it ahead and it just gets better. Great with Fr*to Scoops so you can get a huge mouthful with each scoop!
