About this Cook
Mother of 2 and another on the way. I love cooking but definitely consider myself a "still learning" baker. I love to kayak, hike, and see beautiful places. I am proudly a stay-at-home (but we go lots of places) mom!
My favorite things to cook
Anything new! We try to have people over every Sunday and I like to try new things each week.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I enjoy baking with my girls. They love it! Every week we bake one special recipe that we go to the store and get all the ingredients for. Then, we put it together and share with friends.
My cooking triumphs
Duplicating my favorite recipe from my favorite Italian restaurant- Chicken Marsala from Carabbas.
My cooking tragedies
Brownies from a box!

Easy Iced Coffee
I don't drink coffee but we made it with Pero (it's made from malted barley- you can find it by the tea and coffee and coffee substitutes at your local grocery store)- We added a couple of tablespoons of whipped cream and I thought it was delicious. Definitely a keeper.

Lentils and Rice with Fried Onions (Mujadarrah)
Fantastic! We had it as a main dish with homemade pita bread and a side salad. Perfect for people who need a break from meat!

Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls
Fantastic! Time consuming but well worth it. We made them for Thanksgiving and they were delicious.
