I grew up in a household where dad did all the cooking and mom did all the baking. My whole family, being mostly Italian, has a passion for good food and a variety of flavors. My younger brother is a professional chef. Anything with bite to it. My influences trend towards Italian, Greek, and Southwest flavors. Lamb for Easter. Nothing beats a nice leg of lamb with fresh herbs and olive oil. My personal favorite is my Green and Gold chili. It is ridiculously expensive to make, but has such a tremendous mixture of textures and flavors that I crave it year-round. My friends and family all asked for the recipe before finishing their first bowls! Guacamole... The first time I attempted it, it was a 2 hour utter failure... Haven't tried it since.
