I thought this recipe was perfect as-is. It made plenty to frost a 2 layer cake, it's sooo yummy, and also easy to make, easy to spread. Well worth the extra time...better than store bought.

This is tasty, but I found that 400 degrees is too high; instead I baked it at 350 and it turned out well. I will keep this recipe!

These were very good. Smelled excellent when baking. They do begin to get hard quicky, so I'd suggest storing them as soon as you can.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Tasted good, but I must agree with others that said this did not spread like frosting and was a little greasy. I followed the directions perfectly--that was not the problem. It may be helpful to include the brand of peanut butter since this seems to be reoccuring. Otherwise, it was yummy.

Cottage Pudding - Upside Down Cake

This recipe is a keeper, however, my first time making it wasn't as good as it could be. I used too small a can of peaches, so the cake definetly could have used more fruit. The cake part was excellent, though! Next time I make it, I will use pineapple and plenty of it.

Shortbread Crust

This crust was great with a coconut cream pie. I will definitely use this crust again. Although, the recipe did make more than enough crust, even for a deep dish 9". It was very good!

American Potato Salad

This went over very well at a picnic. I too added a little mustard for color, and used both yellow and red onions, for variety. On top I sprinkled the green onions and some paprika, which made for a good presentation. I will definetly make this again, because I am already being asked to!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Delicious family meal. To the meat mixture I added worcestershire, and a brown gravy packet with 1 cup water, as previously suggested. I really liked the taste of the worcestershire, but next time I make it I'll omit the brown gravy. I used frozen carrot slices, unmashed, and threw a can of corn on top of that--which added a lot of flavor, I thought. Overall very good!
