Best Bread Machine Bread
After trying most of the recipes that came with my bread machine, I was starting to think that spending 100 dollars on the machine was a big mistake. Then I decided to try this recipe, with the addition of an extra 1/2 tsp of salt. I'm glad I did, the bread turned out perfect! It is light and fluffy but has a nice crust. I also really like that this recipe does not contain any milk. Just a tip, this recipe makes a perfect 1.5 pound loaf (in case your machine has different size settings). Thanks for the great recipe and for restoring my hope that I didn't waste my money on my bread machine.

Caramel Shortbread Squares
These tasted great but the presentation was lacking just a bit. I followed the recipe (online) exactly. Everything went well until I went to cut them. The shortbread was just a bit crumbly and most of the chocolate layer seperated from the carmel. I would make these again for an informal/at-home party where presentation isn't really an issue.

Caramel Turtle Brownies
These were OK, not great but not bad either. I brought them to a party and people ate them, but there weren't any rave reviews. The recipe was simple and easy to follow. The only baking issue I had was with the nuts. I thought that the brownies would be gooey enough for the nuts to stick to the top, but they didn't. Most of them fell off when I cut/moved them from the pan. If I make theses again, I'll add the nuts to the brownie mixture before I bake it for the last time.
