Mistaking powdered sugar for flour 1 time when trying to make roux. My wife laughed and laughed after I through out 2 batches of crystalized burned candy before realizing what the heck was going on.

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo
Glad you all like the recipe. Been a few years since I worked on this one. Try adding some oysters and lump crab meat. You will love it. The recipe is only soupy until you add it with rice.
