Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
This recipe was great in a loose type of way, meaning it was basic but needed some tweaking. (I used home-canned tomatoes.) However, after finishing the recipe as given, it lacked flavor. For a creamier taste and to keep the soup from thinning, I added nonfat dry milk, between 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup. I also added about 1/2 cup sugar to reduce the tartness.
Hopefully my findings help someone!! :)
**Forgot to add in my other review...I also added a can of tomato paste for more flavor...it really helped!!!
