Very yummy and I did do as other reviewers and added the topping after about half the time of baking. Truly yummy bread that was very fragant while baking - almost smells like apple pie. Thanks for sharing!

This was great - I skipped the oil just added from what I was draining. It did smell really good and my husband said this was a keeper. Thank you so much!

Sunday's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
I'm not big on apple pie but my husband is. He said it was the best apple pie he ever had which made me a happy baker. The only changes I did was I used self rising flour, splenda, egg whites instead of whole eggs and I also added a touch of nutmeg. In addition, I brushed egg white on the crust. Thanks for a great recipe!

Microwave Mississippi Mud Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
This was very good, the only thing was that I used whole wheat flour instead and it was great, very yummy! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I did as another reviewer stated and only did half of the frosting required which I think was more than enough but it came out very runny. Not sure what I did wrong it was still nice and yummy and my hubby agreed! I will keep doing it again and it was great to have without turning on the oven. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! I took the advice of others and used garlic powder instead of the garlic salt and it was amazing. Quick and easy and the taste and smell were to die for - thanks for sharing!

Mini Eggplant Pizzettes

Reviewed: May 10, 2006
Pretty good - I wish there was a way to make it crunchier to be more like pizza. I had to eat mine with a fork because it was just too soft and I added peppers, sausage and used monterey jack cheese to be a bit different.

I really liked this recipe it had a wonderful taste - didn't give it the 5 stars because the oregano is way too much. I should have read the reviews before trying it and it would have been much better. Still a great recipe though!

Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
Great tasting bread and easy to make even without a bread machine thanks to another reviewer (SCHMOO2) who broke it down for me. Those who don't have bread machines just follow those instructions and you will be all set to enjoy this bread. Absolutely worth the time to make as it was great and it was only my second time trying to bake bread with yeast. My husband absolutely LOVED it. Thanks Melinda for sharing and thanks to SCHMOO2 for breaking it down for those of us who don't have bread machines!

Tzatziki Sauce I

Yummy! I did add chopped up cucumber and chopped up my garlic. I did not have fresh dill so I used dried and think it came out just as good - will have to try with fresh dill though. Thanks now I can have it whenever I want :)

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2006
Wow, wonderful aroma while cooking and flavorful. The sauce I added garlic to mine and the combo was excellent. Thanks for the recipe. Though I did use the food processor to "mash" the garbanzo beans - I was very careful not to overdo it by pulsing. I got a nice chunky like texture, I also added more than a dash of cayenne pepper, didn't use the olive oil and only used about 2/3 of the bread crumbs as it was already manageable at that point. In addition, I shallow fried them as another person suggested. The best - thank you for making my Lenten season better :)

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
What an awesome recipe! My husband and I had half of the loaf when it came out of the oven - we could not wait for it to cool. He just kept commenting how great the "cake" was and that I will now have to do it more often - first time I even attempt to make banana nut bread. Wonderful smell while it is baking, simple and delicious. Only thing is I used the bisquick mix instead of the flour, salt and baking powder. Great recipe - a keeper!

Tofu 'Fish' Fillet Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I tried this as I had bought Tofu to make a pasta salad and had some left over. Maybe it is because I didn't make the sauce but it was bland and didn't get crunchy - it just seemed soggy to me.

Simple But Awesome Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I loved these pork chops - they are melt in your mouth good. Juicy and flavorful. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is that my husband didn't like the lemon flavor with the worestershire sauce. I did it a second time with just salt and pepper instead of lemon pepper and he loved it. I also do not use the olive oil and butter - just the butter as I prefer that taste. Thanks Matt for sharing!
