Dark Chocolate Cake I

Very good and easy! The only thing I did different was to use buttermilk instead of boiling water. I just heated the buttermilk and cocoa on the stove to boil. Will be making this again.

Chicken In Basil Cream

I"m sorry, but this was not very good. Made as directed and we found it had no taste and we did not like how the sauce come together. Won't be making this again.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Great slow cooker recipe! I left out the bell pepper and celery for personal preference. I did add some carrots and garlic. I added some zuchini along with the shrimp the last 10 minutes of cooking. Cooked brown rice was also added which took care of any problem with this being more like a soup. For spices, I made cajun spice mix from this site. I'll be making this again.

Quick Quiche

We really liked this. Quick and easy. This is a recipe that you can add or delete what you want. I added onion, pepper and zuchini which I sauted a little with butter. I also added an extra egg and decreased the milk by 1/2 a cup per other reviewers. I will be making this again.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

This was good but not great. I think these are very labor intensive as muffins. Made one pan and than pulled out a loaf pan and made the rest of the batter in there. The muffins came out dry and not very flavorful. The loaf on the other hand, came out very moist and was hands down the winner. Not sure I'll make this again. I have a number of pumpkin recipes I like better.

Country Apple Dumplings

Oh my!! This is some good stuff. I used 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 a cup of brown sugar. I think next time I will descrease this as this is really sweet. I also added a dash of vanilla to the butter/sugar mixture. Tossed my apples with sugar/cinnamon before wrapping. Quick to put together and couldn't wait to taste it out of the oven. These are delicious! I will be making these this fall with apples from my trees. I think you could also make this with layering dough on the bottom of the pan, apple slices and another layer of dough on the top for an even quicker way of putting it together.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

I used all strawberris and this turned out wonderful. It did not thicken like I wanted it too so next time I'll add cornstarch to the strawberries. The taste is great.
