I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids. I have a wonderful husband who is a Fireman and loves to eat good food. I am constantly looking for new things to make him. I like to send him with treats when he goes to the firestation. Good old fashion meat and potatoes. But full of flavor and with lots of leftovers. I love to make pretty desserts. Cooking traditions???? Nothing really. I have finally reached the point were if something sounds yummy in my head I can create it without a recipe. Once I was cooking pork loin in a glass pan in the oven. I decided it needed water in the pan.... Yep, you heard me I poured cold water into a 400 degree glass pan. Needless to say it exploded all over the place. My husband came into to see when dinner was and found me crying picking up glass. He just looked at me and said I think we should go out for dinner tonight.
