Fish Tacos

Only used the sauce from this recipe - had frozen breaded tilapia filets that I baked and broke into pieces for the tacos. Followed the rest of the recipe and the sauce tasted great.

Oven-Fried Catfish

Sesame Chicken Strips with Sweet Sauce

Never had these before but really did enjoy the recipe. Only 4 stars because I did take the advice of others and added onion, garlic and plenty of salt and pepper to ground beef. Don't think it would have had enough flavor otherwise.

Best Brownies

The best brownies! So good. Those who said they turned out like cake most likely cooked them too long. I've made them twice, cooking only for 25 minutes in a glass dish and they turned out fudge-like both times and tasted great. Only change was I reduced conf. sugar to 1/2 C because some reviewers said the frosting was too sweet. Also, if the butter is truly soft - mixing the frosting is not a problem at all.

Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Fabulous dessert - family loved it. Loved the choc. sauce and the dry roasted pnuts were fine. Next time I will bake in springform pan as others suggested - 9x13 pan takes up alot of space in the freezer. Also as someone else said, take out of freezer about 15 minutes before serving - very hard to cut.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Very easy and tasty. Flipped chicken halfway through baking. Next time will try the thicker sauce method suggested by other reviewers by cooking sauce on stovetop first.

Berry Trifle

This recipe was excellent. Wanted to make a 4th of July dessert - this is what I did. Used Sour Cream Pound Cake III from this site for the prepared cake (but only used half the cake and froze the rest to use later). Cube the cake and place half in bottom of bowl, top with half of the fresh blueberries & strawberries, pour half the pudding mix over it then repeat the layers. Top with whip cream. Skipped the liqueur - didn't have it on hand.

Shepherd's Pie

Very easy and great recipe. Added onion and used fresh mushrooms when browning the ground beef. Also took a reviewer's advice and used chunky vegetable soup for more gravy and added more potatoes for the topping.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

My husband and I loved this recipe - great flavor and great directions on grilling the ribs. We had been grilling them without the aluminum foil therefore they always burned. I did take a reviewer's advice and cut down the cumin by half. Easy prep and tasted great!

Roasted Pork Tenderloin

I love this recipe - it is easy and has a great flavor! I cut the onion and apple in half but use all of it. Husband isn't a huge fan of sauerkraut but he really likes this recipe.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Great flavor - I do add green/red peppers and onion to the mix and marinate. I took the advice of another reviewer and boiled the bacon for a few minutes before wrapping around chicken so it wouldn't burn on the grill. Makes the recipe even more time consuming with the bacon wrapped chicken and setting up the skewers but we really like it.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Husband loves this recipe and he's not a big fan of chicken breasts. I didn't put butter in the bottom of pan per other reviewers suggested and it still turns out great. Also, didn't have crispy rice cereal so I crushed Special K cereal and used that.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Thought these were great and my company loved them too. I took the other reviewer's suggestions and used milk chocolate chips and less sugar. Also, didn't have any problem with cutting them (chocolate crumbling) because I added a little shortening when melting the choc chips.
