Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
I love this recipe. It's been a classic in our family for years. I think it's even better the next day severed chilled. My husband loves to eat it for breakfast.

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
A pretty good, easy cinnamon roll. If I made them again I would skip putting a teaspoon of the cinnamon sugar mix in the bottom of each muffin cup. All of my cinnamon filling bubbled out and the dough just kinda floated in the middle. Less may be better : )

Baked Pineapple

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
Very good. I got a little ahead of myself in mixing the ingredients and mixed in the cinnamon with it all. I did use pineapple juice instead of water and sprinkle additional cinnamon on before it went in the oven. The next time I make it I'll beat the eggs before I mix them in. Perfect dish for a holiday meal!

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
Very Good! This will definitely be a keeper. I used Cream cheese with 1/3 less fat and it turned out just fine. I rolled mine in a mix of pecans and some mini chocolate chips. I think it gave it a little more texture. Yum!

Crackers a la Yvette

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2006
Wow these are good! I made one change and that was using oyster crackers instead of the traditional saltine. Great for munching. I like the idea of calling them "Firecrackers". I'll definitely be making these for 4th of July this year.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2006
This recipe is alright. I think there are better cinnamon roll recipes out there. I had a real tough time trying to roll the dough with the sugary spread in it.. most of it oozed out the ends. Instead of a muffin tin I put them in a pan, I think thats the solution if you don't want "muffin" cinnamon rolls. I topped mine with a cream cheese frosting. I probably won't make them again, but this is a good and easy recipe for those looking to make cinnamon rolls.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2006
I didn't have oat bran so I substituted some extra wheat germ and oats. At the end I added some semi sweet and white chocolate chips. I also threw in some dried dates and coconut. When I made this I cut the recipe in half and it still made a ton.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: May 12, 2006
This is really good! Quick and easy to make. I'm glad I found it, I've been dissapointed with Jello's instant pudding for awhile now. It did take longer that I had expected for it to set up all the way. Yummy none the less!

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
Despite my worry after mixing up this concoction of odd flavors, it turned out perfect. I added a little bit of ketchup, a tablespoon of brown sugar.. and instead of liquid smoke I threw in a tablespoon of worcestershire. I served it with brown rice. This will definately be a recipe I use a lot this summer! Thanks!

Lemon Snowdrops

Reviewed: May 5, 2006
These were really delicious. I brought them to work to share and everyone loved them. The next time I make them though, I think I'll roll them into 3/4" or 1/2" balls to make a smaller cookie that you just pop in your mouth. They were a little messy to take several bites of because of the confectioners sugar. Another note to those trying the recipe.. mine didn't spread at all in the oven (which is alright) Just to keep in mind .. the shape & size they are going in the oven will be the same coming out. Thanks for sharing!

Taco Rice

This was a great recipe. I did omit the olives though. I think the next time I make it I'll serve it with some taco seasoned ground beef or steak strips as burritos. Thanks for sharing!

Really good.. I cooked mine a little longer to make the potatoes a bit crispier. This will be a recipe I keep.

Maple Twists

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
This was a really good recipe. For me its one that I would make to take to work or when company is over, but not just for the family. I agree with the other comments that depending on the baking mix you might need to add a little more milk. I'm not sure about anyone else, but the directions stated not to grease the pan... you might want to. It took some scrubbing to get my pan clean after the sugary goo was baked on. Besides that it was pretty wicked.

No Bake Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
I'm not sure what went wrong when I made these but they never set up. I did use old fashioned rolled oats instead of quick cooking oats (they were what I happened to have) I might try this again with quick oats, but I'm a little afraid the same thing will happen again. They tasted good despite their gooeyness.

Very good and very easy! Perfect for someone to make a little bit but not the whole cake. Even my husband, a cheesecake connoisseur, loved them! Thanks!
