I love to bake. When I have a day at home and I want to relax this is what I do. I love to try new recipes! Anything chocolate. My current favorite is trying to track down the very best bread pudding recipe. My family is portuguese and every Christmas we make portuguese sweet bread and during the easter season we make malasadas, which is like a portuguese donut. We've been doing this since I was a kid and we always mix both doughs by hand. My great grandmother used to make the best molasses cookies. When she died she failed to leave a copy of the recipe. I was thrilled when after many attempts I finally figured it out. The first time I ever made stir fry, I left the shrimp and veggies to both marinade for hours. It was awful!! It tasted like pure salt and everything was mushy.
