My favorite things to cook
I love baking! And I enjoy trying new recipes. But I really like the ones that look like I cooked all day but it is QUICK & EASY!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother always made fudge and popcorn when we visited. Nothing like sweet and salty! Mom always made what we call "Pink Stuff" I know it has a name, but we always called it that. Maybe I'll post the recipe.
My cooking triumphs
The most delicious enchiladas. And for Easter 2006, one of the dishes I made was Apple Butter Pork Loin from this site. I made a few changes and it was wonderful! I was very happy everything turned out so tasty and great presentation.
My cooking tragedies
I've had many cooking tragedys! But the worst was fish soup. It was disgusting! Many years ago, my first microwave was destroyed by an egg blowing up inside. I didn't know about poking a small hole in the shell. It blew the door off and it was amazing that one little egg could cover so much of my kitchen!
