This recipe is a staple in our home as well as for my moms group. People beg me to make them. I've made a few changes 1)I use the an 18 oz cake mix. I always use the butter recipe cake mix. I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not. Using the 18 oz cake mix seems to make the dough slower in rising. The dough is sticky, but I don't mind although you can add an extra cup of flour. 2) I double the filling and use half brown sugar and half white sugar. 3) I bake them for 16 minutes so that are a big doughy, but that is just what we like. 4) We make the frosting into a glaze and a but on the buttery side. I make the recipe by taste so I can't really tell you the changes, but they are super yummy!

As I was making this I didn't think I was going to like it, but it actually turned out to be really good. When I served it, I added some meatballs to beef it up a bit.

This isn't my favorite thing in the world, but I use it as a staple for a fun playdate snack. Both the moms and kids always love it! You can also make whatever alterations you want. It's pretty hard to screw up.

My family really liked this recipe. I added a bit of water because I thought it would be too thick, but I don't know that I needed too. We served it over mashed potatoes. Since we aren't big leftovers fan, I put the rest in a pot pie for the next day.

These are the best waffles I've ever had!

My kids ate it and that says a lot! My hubby liked it too, but he would prefer it with about half the cream cheese. I will make it again, but add a few spices next time. I'm also planning on making it for a freezer meal swap with some friends.

These are my kids absolute favorite. My five year old asks for them for breakfast EVERYDAY! We've made these at birthday parties for an activity and a meal as well as at moms group activities where the kids get to make their own creations. It's always a success.

We love this meal! It's kid friendly and it's easy to divide into sections. Some of us like beans, some like tomatoes, etc. Everyone gets what they like. I have three kids under 5, it's nice to have at least one meal or snack that pleases them all. For me, I toss my nachos into a salad and make a taco salad. It's also a great movie dinner for our family dinner and a movie night.

Perfect for summer bbqs. This recipe has been in our family for years and it's still brought to every family reunion. It makes a lot and I always get great reviews.

This was very good, but I think I prefer traditional seasonings for roasting a chicken. However, it was great for leftovers on a salad.

My hubby loves this sauce on ribs. He requests it anytime we bbq.

This is so yummy. I doubled the sauce and used the veggies that I wanted rather than what was written, but it couldn't have been better. My hubby loved it and he is pickier than the kids. I think next time I am going to try throwing all of the ingredients in a crockpot and letting it cook for a few hours. This is easy to make, but a crockpot is even easier when you've got three toddlers.
