Boiled Bagels

I used half whole wheat flour and half regular. These turned out really well. Not too difficult and great flavor. I did let them rise longer on the first rise and probabl will let them rise longer on the second rise next time. I also used more sugar as recommended by some others. Overall, a great recipe!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2005
We read Walter the Baker by Eric Carle to my four yr old who then decided we should make some pretzels. So I went on a quest for a recipe and found this one. We used only 1 cup of all purpose white four and the rest we used whole wheat flour and wheat bread flour. They turned out yummy! My kids loved them and we read the story while we ate them hot from the oven. Thanks for a great recipe!

Party Italian Wedding Soup

I thought this recipe was simple and delicious!!!! However, my hubby didn't like it at all. I used my own meatballs (I make large batches and freeze them for use in several recipes) but otherwise didn't change a thing! Thanks!

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

We used this as a glaze on salmon and it was fabulous. I used powdered ginger instead of fresh, also. We also grilled the fish and drizzled the glaze over it before serving.

Garden Herb Loaf

Very Yummy! I used fresh rosemary, thyme and oregano and added the herbs after I divided the dough into three parts, one herb in each part. I used one Tbsp of each. Then I braided the ropes and baked that way. It took less baking time and was beautiful. Will definetly do again!

Very good. I used less onions and I think next time I will try crushed Ritz crackers on top instead of bread crumbs for more of a crunch. Thanks for a new way to please my picky husband, particularly with a healthy veggie.

This had a great flavor, but did not get firm. I followed the recipe exactly and used a candy thermometer to verify proper temp. Please help. I would love to be able to make this so it comes out correctly.

My very picky husband loved this recipe! I substitued sunflower seeds for the sesame seeds and diced the grapes. I also added 2 tablespoons of brown sugar to the sauce to tone it down a touch and poured it over the chicken for the last five minutes of baking. Thank you for a wonderful addition to my recipe box!
