Raspberry Cup Cakes

Wow these are amazingly good. My sis made them and I was a bit unsure but must say - one of the best desserts I've had ever. Oh !!- but she used strawberries.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

I helped my sister make this dish at her dinner party and it came out wonderful. Incredibly flavorful. I will definitely be using this one again. The only thing we changed was adding two tablespoons of vinegar instead of teaspoons and it was only by accident that we did so. It was still amazing though. I highly recommend this dish.

Grilled Aubergines with Prosciutto

If I were to try this again I would probably sautee the eggplant. Mine didnt come out very good at all. I think I will try it again but without the eggplant and with large portabellos sauteed. Otherwise this recipe isnt so bad. Just needs some tweeking.

Teriyaki Mushrooms

I tried this and it didnt turn out very good. But I think it was the teryaki sauce I used. It was very strong. I might try it again in the future with a softer teryaki flavor.

Kalamata Stuffed Mushrooms

Excellent. Lots of flavor. It seems most stuffed mushrooms are kind of bland and these were very good.

Shrimp and Catfish Gumbo

Good recipe. Allows for a lot of experimenting. I think next time I use it I'll not use fish but thats a personal preference. Rather soupy if you are looking for a thick gumbo. I thought it was quite good for a thick spicy soup.
