My son and I made this for Thanksgiving. We used fresh broccoli and cauliflower. We cooked it 10 min and that was too long! Six or seven would have been better. That being said it was sort of a really mushy dish, but still tasted delicious. I like the Ritz crackers on the top, it added a lot!
My changes, used cream of asparagus soup to make it vegetarian. Used a partial jar of cheese sauce and some processed cheese.
We will definitely make it again, just not over-cook the veggies.
