About this Cook
Married mom of four. 2 of the 4 will eat just about anything. Husband and other 2 very very picky! We also have 2 dogs (Emma and Charlie), 1 kitty (Ripple), 2 birds (Louie and Eggbert) and 2 hamsters (Cheeto and Frito). I work in accounting and I realize numbers make a lot of sense to me. I'm not very good at "eyeballing" measurements.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with pasta or bread. My kids will eat pretty much anything fried and/or dipped. Not much cooking to me, but it makes them happy so it makes me happy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom would always make huge batches of candy and cookies at Xmas, still does actually. When we were little (I'm the youngest of 5 girls), we would all help her, now our kids get to help grandma every year and they love it almost as much as we did.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know about calling these triumphs but they're a few of the things I make that everyone seems to like. Lasagna, fried chicken, garlic cheese biscuits, chocolate chip cookies, and an italian-type pasta salad.
My cooking tragedies
Hot oil for burritos, stepped away, fire in the kitchen, burned cabinets and walls, and I didn't even get to eat the burritos!!

Buffalo Chicken Wings I
I asked my husband to rate these since I don't like buffalo wings. He said they needed a little more kick to them. Not quite hot enough to suit his tastes. He likes the flavor though, just not enough heat.

Creamed Eggs
I've had this every Easter morning since I was a little girl. One of my favorite comfort foods.

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I
I love this stuff! I've been making it for a couple of years. Yummy with a little half & half poured over it. Very very very rich!!
