I made this for a party yesterday for the church ladies group. All the ladies loved it! My kids love it and my husband loves it. I printed copies of the recipe before the party b/c I knew people would want it. I made the recipe as it is written and served it with gingersnaps, honey graham sticks, and apple and pear slices. Great recipe. Husband said it tastes just like pumpkin pie filling.

Very chewy consistency - somewhat bland. No one wanted to eat the leftovers.

My husband and son loved this dish. I did modify it some - I divided my potatoes into thirds and used two layers of sliced onion rings. I sprinkled each layer with garlic salt and pepper. Very yummy.
