Classic Waffles

We are big fans of breakfast at dinner. Quick, easy, and very tasty. I put a dash of cinnamon in my dry mix.

I love this recipe! My husband prefers cream corn and I like whole. This is the perfect combination of the two. I just made this as an Easter side dish. I like to sprinkle a little paprika on the top to add a little heat and color. Yum!

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

I use a recipe very similar to this I got from Taste of Home. I like to use make broth by boiling the chicken before I start the rest of the recipe. This is also a great recipe to use up leftover chicken and turkey.

Wedding Cake Frosting

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

These are quick and tasty! I made these for an afterschool snack for my kids. They gobbled them up. I made smaller sized balls and ended up with 12. I also added a drop of orange food coloring to the marshmallow mixture since it is close to Halloween!

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

I had cooked my chicken in the crockpot all day. I just shredded it and added the rest of the ingredients except the shredded cheese adding also about 1/4 cup cooked white rice. I made my own tortillas topped them with the cheese and serving with sour cream. YUMO!!!!

Cool Whipped Frosting

I make this with a small can of crushed pineapple added in. It is wonderful on a yellow sheet cake. One of my family favorites :)

Cold Oven Pound Cake

I made this for a valentine party I went to. It was wonderful. The cake was moist and dense. Sweet but not too sweet. I made it like the recipe said but it would be good with just about any flavoring added. The cold oven start was a a new one for me too. I did make one small change I added three drops red food coloring. It came out pink to boot!

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

I made this last night. The aroma while it was cooking was wonderful. Chicken was moist and tender. I didn't have mushrooms so I left them out. I cooked the onion in the butter to begin with and added 1/2 tsp minced garlic instead of the powder. Everyone liked it I will make it again.

Honeyed Pork Chops

This was sooo good. The ingredients complimented so nicely. My chops browned in the while baking which made for a pretty presentation. My famly ate them up quick. I tucked this recipes away going to try it on chicken. YUM!
