Pumpkin Hummus, Caramelized Onion and Fontina Cheese Pizzas

This was AMAZING. I would rate it 10 stars if I could. It was bursting with flavor and the textures really complimented each other. My only gripe was that it took a long time to make - it was worth it though. If you can make the hummus ahead of time that would really help. I can't wait to make this again for a small dinner party!

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Wine Fondue

Me and the hubby thought this was a decent inexpensive recipe, but didn't LOVE it. I might try a differnet wine next time and play around with the spices.

Chipotle Smashed Potatoes

These were a really nice change from traditional potatoes. As other reviewers suggested add the chipotle SLOWLY. The heat can sneak up on you quickly.

Lemon Artichoke Soup

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

These were good, but much better with some changes. I added a garlic clove to the cream cheese as well as a teaspoon of cumin and then layered on some drained canned corn, avocado slices and diced tomatoes - delish!

Mexican Cream Cheese Rollups

For some odd reason my spread came out very, very runny... it might have been my salsa I'm not sure. I also thought though it was a little bland. Because of those two things I ended up adding drained canned black beans and corn as well as some cilantro and just serving it with tortilla chips. I will have to try again, but in the mean time thanks for the base!!

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

I made the chicken salad part of the recipe for my best friends bridal shower - everyone LOVED it! I doubled the lime juice and left out the pecans (nut allergies) and apple (plain forgot). I served it so that guest could put it on wheat bread, but most everyone ended up eating it on tortilla chips which turned out to be delicious!

Jamie's Minestrone

I made this soup for a bridal shower and everyone loved it. I did make a few changes based on what I had/preference - I used white wine instead of red, replaced 1/4 of the tomato sauce with crushed Italian tomatoes and replaced 1/2 of the zucchini with summer squash. I will be making this again!

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

This is a good base recipe, but extremely bland as written. We were dipping it in an avocado yogurt sauce so it was okay, but just the fish alone needs WAY more seasoning. I'm going to try adding some dill, lemon pepper and a little cayenne next time.

Tangy Cucumber and Avocado Salad

I LOVE THIS SALAD!!! I usually scale it down as it is just my husband and I and add some shallot and a few pinches of cumin. If you're not happy with the presentation I would suggest picking a slightly firmer avocado. Also try mixing the rest of the ingredients first and then folding the avocado in. I've done this with great results.

Grilled Radishes

Radishes are very unique... if you don't like them raw chances are you're not going to care for them cooked either. My husband loves radishes and thought these were great, whereas I thought they were just okay.

No Bake Cookies III

I doubled the peanut butter in this recipe and added a bit more vanilla. Delish! I didn't have any problems with them hardening after 1 minute of boiling, but you may want to add 30 seconds on just incase.

Avocado and Cilantro Soup

So I didn't love this soup recipe, but I thought it might make a good base with some changes. I played around with the recipe a bit and found what was perfect for me. I used 2 avocados, left out the tomato paste, added the juice of an entire lime, used 1 tsp of tropical habanero hot sauce, added 3/4 of a shallot, and used 2 tbsp of tequila, 3/4 cup chicken broth, 3 tbsp of fresh cilantro, garlic salt, white pepper and a dash of nutmeg. I also replaced the sour cream with 1/4 cup of heavy cream and let it chill overnight. It was the most phenomenal avocado soup I have ever had!! Thanks for the idea.
