I am a new mom so I don't get to experiment as often as I once did. When I get the chance I love trying new recipes! Anything new. I make my family be my guinea pigs! My family is from the midwest and they still cook those rich comfort foods. I love finding new ways to make them healthier, but with them same taste. Over the years I have learned to perfect several types of cookies! I used to make flat brick cookies. Now they are moist and chewy everytime! I am bad at cooking homemade mac n' cheese. I have yet to learn how to do it right! It always comes out dry and chunky. Blah!
