Hot and Sour Broccoli Beef
About this Cook
I'm a southern country girl who doesn't like bland food, loves spicy stuff and has a taste for other orginal things too. I've always added Tony Chachere's creole seasoning to almost everything. But still have an open mind about new spices and seasoning.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up we ate things like: fried pork chops w/ rice & tomato gravy-biscuits & field peas (that was my favorite) plus: jambalya, gumbo, etoufee, crawfish & shrimp

Pineapple Pork Chops
Diffently a keeper! I only had 3 pork chops but still kept all the ingredients the same except I added a lil bit more brown sugar at the end. Plus I added some pineapple chunks which was a great add! I put the sauce over some rice and made a quick, easy and good meal. Maybe next time I will throw in a few more vegatables.. Thanks.

Mediterranean Lemon Chicken
I thought this was a good recipe! Nothing like the ordinary baked chicken. Me & My Husband enjoyed it very much. I had a few more legs than the recipe called for, so I added a few more ingredients. Still turned out great! I also put some potatoes in with it, although I should have put more bc they didn't last long.. Next time I will add more potatoes and maybe use one of the suggestions from here and add some half & half cream. Great recipe. Thank you!

Chicken Breasts with Plum Salsa and Basmati Rice
My husband didn't care for it too much. He'd rather me not cook it again. I did eat it, but it wasn't a favorite.. It does take a while to get use to the different flavors.. The chicken was the best part for me..I only ate the plum sauce by mixing it w/ the chicken. I did like that it was a little sweet taste mixed w/ the chicken. It was diffently a dish w/ different flavors and don't know if I will make it again bc of the review from the family.
