About this Cook
A busy mom who loves baking and truly enjoys every ounce of food I eat and serve!
My favorite things to cook
COOKIES, pies and cakes mostly. Also love creating new chicken breast dishes since it's the only meat I eat 99% of the time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Apple pie, cookies and various old-school dishes for the soul.
My cooking triumphs
Waiting for my crowning moment still...
My cooking tragedies
The first time I baked macaroni and cheese -- it was so bad the dog wouldn't eat it. We tried mixing it with his kibble and he actually separated it out and refused to eat the macaroni. LOL. When it got in his mouth he spit it back out on the side of his bowl.

Chinese Eggplant Fries
This tasted good using StoveTop cornbread stuffing (processed finely) instead of the flour mixture, and had a lot of flavor. I cut them in 1/2 inch thick circles instead of julienne-style, and used mayo for dipping. Even my 12-year-old and 3-year-old liked them.

Warm Chicken Ranch Wraps
After making this the first time, I made it at least 3 times in the following week. Definitely delicious!
