Sorry but this did not turn out for me. I followed the recipe very closely: the only thing I changed was the amount of flavor I added. I cooked on correct temp for correct amount of time and to my horror the cake had a gian wet area in the center when I cut it. I made this cake for Thanksgiving and took it to my inlaws. I was mortified! I won't be making this cake again.

My family LOVED LOVED LOVED this recipe! My husband was so pleased and proud that I made homemade beef stew. When I told him we were having beef stew for dinner he thought we were having a 'canned dinner' night. He was pleasantly surprised! Recipe was simple and easy to prepare a must for a working mom with kids.
