I am 25 years old, I work part time, but a full time mother to my 5 month old son and a full time wife to my wonderful husband.I just recently decided to change my eating habits, and to start being more active(more than just running around, fullfilling the needs of my demanding son :)) I needed to lose weight, so I started doing this workout program turbo jam, and I absolutely enjoy it. I also needed to start eating healthier. I enjoy cooking, and I love, love, love, food and I don't want to sacrifice not having to ever eat pasta, bread, potatoes, all the carbs that i love. But I realized that I don't need to sacrifice my favorite food in order for me to lose weight. I can still have pasta, I just use Whole Wheat pasta instead, I can have potatoes, but instead of using heavy butter on my baked potato, I put sour cream, and chives. Little things like that will help me achieve long term results.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican food is my husband's favorite type of food. I also enjoy cooking indonesian dishes that I've learned from my mom growing up.
My favorite family cooking traditions

My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies
Putting too much salt in the meatloaf. I accidently seasoned the meatloaf with salt, twice. It was very salty, My husband and i joked about it for about week.
