Tex-Mex Tilapia

Very light and refreshing. I kept the jalapenos in large pieces so they were easy to pick out, and they still lent their spiciness to the dish.

Yum! So good and so easy! My father-in-law said it's the best dessert I've ever made...he's so easy to please! I will try using lemon cake mix next time, soundsn delicious!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

This was just ok. I expected the chicken to becomed carmelized with the sauce, but didn't at all, resulting in a chicken thigh swimming in butter and garlic, with a salty twang from the soy sauce. Kinda boring and bland.

I think this is delicious, and so easy to make. I have subbed asparagus for the spinach, just because I didn't have any, and it was good too!...I have made this many times now. I have used the sauce with lots of different stuff, last night I used shrimp, sundried tomatoes,and artichoke hearts, and it is soooo delicious!

Delicious!! Definately a keeper! The only change I made was using curry powder, rather than the Old Bay since I didn't have any. So mine may be a bit spicier, but soooo good!

Parmesan Zucchini Bread

Very Good! I did add about double parmesan, because I love it! The texture was also very good, especially considering it's a quickbread. Great alternative for sweet zucchini bread when you have a garden full!

Did not like these too much. They were SO sweet, even after I cut the sugar back to 1/2c. They weren't very fluffy either, came out kind of flat and soggy.

Garlic Yeast Bread

This made the smallest loaf!! I'll double the recipe for next time. I doubled the garlic and will probably quadruple it next time, I'm a garlic-oholic!! My crust came out really tough, maybe I"ll use milk instead of water next time.

Southern Moon Pies

The filling in these ruined it for me. I would have rather had plain marshmallow fluff. The hole stick of butter is waaay too much. I suggest flattening the cookie dough when you put them on the pan, mine rose more than they spread and made them a little difficult to eat.

Rosemary and Garlic Simmered Pork Chops

This would have been a 5, had I followed the recipe! I didn't have any beef stock, so I used beef bouillon with 1 cup of water. After reducing so much during the cooking, the sauce became so salty it was almost inedible! So... note to others, DO NOT USE BEEF BOUILLON!

Glazed Meatloaf I

I really likes this and I have never really liked meatloaf! I only had one ound of meat and I forgot to halve the rest of the ingredients, so the texture was a little weird for me but, I could tell that it would be great if I made it correctly. I did take some suggestions from others like, bread crumbs instewad of bread cubes and I also put some more seasoning in the meat. I mad it into 4 individual loaves for a shorter baking time and when I put the glaze on I turned the broiler on for about 5 minutes to get the glaze all carmelized...yummy!
