I'm a single mom living and working my butt off in Gillette, Wyoming. My daughter is two (fun fun!!) and she loves to sit on the counter and help me cook. I like cooking just about anything, I don't really follow recipes and usually end up changing a recipe to suit myself and my family so I don't really like baking all that much. We don't really have any traditions in my family but I always loved helping and watching my mom make bread. I wouldn't call it "triumphs" really but I always feel really proud of my cooking when I just grab stuff out of the pantry and throw it together just making it up as I go along - 98% of the time it turns out really good! I don't have many "tragedies" really but I do remember the last time I baked a cake from scratch. Evidently I copied the recipe wrong and added way to much baking soda - you can imagine what happened.
