now that:s better!!!! someone had posted a midnight sandwich not even close to the real thing....thank you for posting this as i was about to lose my mind!!!

this recipe does not even begin to come close to being a midnight sandwich. i midnight sandwich uses egg bread instead of hoagie bread which is the essence of the sandwhich. other important difference include the fact that i have never seen a cuban eat turkey! this sandwich has ham and thinkly sliced roast pork, mustard, and pickles. THAT IS IT! mayo can be used to taste but using italian dressing in this most cuban sandwich is offensive to those of use who call it a midnight!!!!!
